On Thursday there was quite a buzz in Room 18 about the earthquake that had shaken us in our homes in the morning. After sharing our experiences, some students chose to write about it:
I was on top of my bunk bed. I was scared. Then I went to the supermarket. In the supermarket my milk nearly fell out of the trolley.

This morning there was a(n) earthquake at my house and I had to go under the table.

This morning there was an earthquake and I got really scared but I did what you are supposed to do. I was sitting in the lounge watching TV bit I went under the table.

There was an earthquake and I felt it.

An earthquake shook my house.

My bed was shaking. I fell down.

I was going downstairs to see what the shaking was.
